Guerlain is decadent, vanity worthy and whispers tales of old hollywood glamour. Making a statement without saying a word; that is Guerlain. Not only is the packaging reminiscent of jewelry, but the formulas are beautiful as well. The loveliness of this line is nearly heartbreaking to me and here are a few of my favorite picks.
Guerlain ‘Rouge G de Guerlain’ Lipcolor $48:
Pigmented, yet effortless to apply. The only thing more luxurious than sliding this soft hydrating lipstick over your lips is actually taking it out of its case. This is not just a lipstick, it’s an outstanding accessory for your handbag. Housed in a magnetic mirrored case. If you decide to indulge in one for yourself, do take the time to have it engraved with your name as a final touch of luxury.
Guerlain ‘Écrin 6 Couleurs’ Eyeshadow Palettes $85:
Each luxurious palette is named after a Guerlain boutique in Paris. 6 shadows in mattes, shimmers and satins with a range of shades that take you from day to night. From the deluxe compact to the beautiful, butter-soft shadows, this one is worth every penny.
Guerlain ‘Meteorites’ Pearls $58:
In three soft colors, this light inspired powder diffuses imperfections and leaves skin with a natural looking radience. Meteorites Pearls employ the technology of white light (used in photography and film), to soften features. This powder has been excessively copied, but never replicated. There is simply nothing quite like it.
Guerlain ‘Rouge Automatique’ Lip Color $35
Moisturizing and long-lasting lip color. Sexily packaged in a button slide, garage door type golden tube that opens and closes with just one hand. Its innovative formula combines hydrating comfort with stay put color and is currently available in a 25 stunning shades.
