Nothing was more fantastical or fun than Marc Jacob’s recent Prêt-à-Porter (Ready-to-Wear) Fall 2012 presentation for Louis Vuitton. I have watched the video repeatedly. Arriving out of a steam locomotive, the models were outfitted with richly hued and embroidered dresses cascading over slacks of the same material, outfitted with supple waist coats, and topped with Mad Hatter velvety-appearing enormous top hats. Porters met these models as they stepped out of the train, fully dressed in bell-boy wear, picking up and carrying the Louis Vuitton bags. It encapsulated everything good in the modern as well as the vintage. It was ethereal. It was magical! Step into the dream. You will not be disappointed. Ciao for Now, Beauties!

Marie’s Musings: I'm a woman whose daily wardrobe consists of Joe’s jeans, Edun tees, Prada sandals and large, dark sunglasses. Still, I am devoted to fashion. It is art, it is of-the-moment, it is life. I read every fashion magazine & newspaper, loving it all & clipping pages for my Look-Book. Oh, the fantasy! And, fantasy is fun.View all Marie posts.
