Valentino ‘Valentina’ Eau de Parfum

This one is definitly going on my favorites list. The bottle alone is reason enough to consider buying it. Fashion house Valentino released this new fragrance in September, 2011. The face of the ad campaign is model Freja Beha Erichsen, photographed by David Sims. This is so timely for spring. A fresh floral with a hint of wild strawberry, but it maintains its sophistication with a base of amber and cedar. See breathtaking photos from the ad campaign on the QuixotiGirly Blog.

Top: EXUBERANT FRESHNESS – The exuberant freshness of Calabrian bergamot is enhanced with the unexpected twist of white Alba Truffle.

Middle: FLORAL IRREVERENCE – The iconic beauty of a white floral bouquet (Amalfi Orange Blossom, Tuberose, jasmine) subtly kissed by wild strawberry.

Base: CAPTIVATING AMBERY WOODS – The captivating sensuality of Amber is enriched by the noble signature of Cedar.

All the ingredients point towards a rich sweet scent, but the top notes indicate exuberant freshness. Woww! I need to sample it!

i like the simplicity of the campaign and how beautiful this bottle is, I'm sure the scent matches! I'm so going to have go out and find a tester for this,

I tend to buy fragrance not only based on their scent but the packaging as well. Will have to try this one out when next. Love the packaging.

L’Imperatrice is on my wish list! I love the musk sandalwood base. I think you would like this one. It's a bit more floral, but very gentle and sophisticated too.

My all time favourite is Dolce & Gabbana Ligth blue,and L'Imperatrice. But i think i must try something else,maybe this :)

just looking at the bottle and description makes me wish i lived in a place where i could try it out. unfortunately i was a girl born beauty obsessed and fashion crazed.... stuck in a tiny town in iowa where the nicest department store we have is a jc pennys lol.
